We know that when essential works are taking place, you may have a number of concerns. We'll always carry out our work with the appropriate safety measures in place to ensure that you and our team of engineers aren’t in harm’s way. 

Helping improve vulnerable situations 

All of our staff undergo rigorous training in helping members of the community who have additional needs when it comes to communication, access or safety.

Priority Services

We use the Priority Services Register to help us identify people in vulnerable situations, so we can get to them as quickly as possible when there’s an emergency

We’re a dementia friendly utility, which means our staff have had special training in how to help people who are living with dementia

Did you know…?

Lots of people aren’t aware that we don’t always need to turn your gas off while we complete our work on site. The wellbeing of people in the surrounding areas is of the utmost importance to us, so we make it a priority to keep the energy flowing without any disruptions.

Our state of the art machinery and equipment, such as keyhole technology, means we can reduce the number of holes we dig, minimising disruption and helping to speed up the whole process.

Your Gas Network

It’s important that you feel safe when we’re around, so should we need to knock on your door, we want to make sure you’re comfortable with us being there.

We’ll never be without our ID cards, and we’ll always show them to you when we knock on your door.  If you’d prefer to close the door while you phone our customer centre to check we are who we say we are, that’s absolutely fine….
